The PetSafe GPS dog tracker is a versatile GPS for
dogs. This GPS dog collar has three well-defined
operating modes, and it even lets you know when
your unit's battery is running low so you never
run the risk of being unable to track your dog.
This GPS dog collar is a sleek, compact unit fitted
onto a comfortable, well made collar. The GPS dog
tracking collar weighs just 4.2 oz, and measures
3.75"x2.5"x1.25." The PetSafe GPS
dog collars are very durable and water resistant.
Monitor
Mode.The
default operating mode for PetSafe GPS dog collars
will regularly checks that your dog is in the
Home Zone. If not, you will be contacted. The
GPS for dogs default radius of the Home Zone is
300 feet. You can change this to your needs. You
are free to set the radius to less than 300 feet
but due to the accuracy of GPS, a false violation
may occur.
Walk Mode.
Allows you and your dog to leave your Home Zone
for up to 45 minutes at a time; then automatically
reverts back to GPS Monitor Mode.
Locate Mode. If
your dog leaves the Home Zone - or if the Walk
Mode elapses before your dog is back in the Home
Zone - the GPS dog collar shifts into Locate /
Dog Tracker Mode and sends an escape alert to
the PetSafe Dog Tracking Customer Service Center.When
you receive the GPS dog tracking alert, you can
track your pet using our tracking website, or
you can call the Customer Service Center to begin
the dog tracking process.

PetSafe GPS dog collar runs on two rechargeable
batteries. You will receive a low-battery alert
approximately 24 hours before your GPS dog collar
is due to run out of power. Typical battery life
is approximately 4-5 days.This

Setup. Our set-up process is user-friendly
(and dog approved).Setting
up the PetSafe® GPS Locator™ unit is easy.
Once the unit has been activated - by calling our Customer
Care Service Center or online , and the batteries have
been installed, you are only three simple steps away
from the safety a GPS dog tracking system.
1.
Go outside and stand at the center point of your desired
Home Zone. To obtain an accurate location from the GPS
dog collar, you must be in a open area.
2.
Press the red
Mode button for one second and release it. The green
and red lights on the device should illuminate as follows:
a. Both the red and green light should
turn on, then off.
3. Press the Mode button four times
in succession. The green and red lights on the device
should illuminate as follows:
a. The red light flashes until the
location of the device is successfully obtained, which
may take up to five minutes.
b. The green light flashes for five
seconds to confirm that the Home Zone Boundary has been
set. Your PetSafe GPS Locator is now set up and in Monitor
mode!
