You can adjust (with the turn of a knob) the area you allow your pet to travel from 3' to 30' from the installed perimeter wire. You are given a "key" to adjust the maximum level of correction your pet will receive from the receiver mounted on it's collar. Our system uses common 3 volt #2032 batteries.
