Hand-fed and parent
raised babies available from our seven bloodlines. All babies
are closed banded.
Pre-weaned babies available only to individuals with prior hand
feeding experience.

Shipping Policy
We have been shipping birds for 15+ years and know how to do it
properly. We ship birds in the USA only. We know
the best crates to use for various species and how to provide food
and moisture in transit. There are perches built into the crate's.
We provide enough food to last for several days as a contingency
in case of flight delays. We ship counter to counter service with
the major airlines (this is prepaid freight). Charge varies from
one airline to another but generally is about $150.00 nationwide.
Several babies can be shipped in one crate for $150.00. The consignee
is always notified with the flight number(s), airbill number, and
arrival time before the shipment is made. We ship Monday through
Thursday, avoiding week-end shipping due to heavier passenger traffic.
Health
certificates can be provided at extra charge of $85.00 each.
Health Guarantee
GUARANTEE: All baby birds are guaranteed against pre-existing
conditions; such as bacterial disorders, parasites, viruses or deformities
at the time of sale / shipping. This means that our babies are free
of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections
and congenital defects. If one of our babies becomes ill or expires
after the sale and the illness or congenital defect was present
in our bird prior to its being sold, we will replace the bird. Notification
shall be made within 24 hours of onset of symptoms or guarantee
is void. Any diagnosis of any pre-existing conditions must be made
by a licensed avian veterinarian. The Running Bird Ranch attending
veterinarian must concur with the diagnosis and all laboratory test
and results shall be made available to him/her. This guarantee is
invalid if the babies leg band is removed.
THERE IS NO BETTER GUARANTEE! We
do not consider a growth of gram negative bacteria post-shipping
to be disease but recognize that this is a stress-related reaction
to being shipped. Please ask us for details regarding our guarantee
if there is something you do not understand. We are serious about
our babies' health and do everything possible to provide proper
nutrition and veterinary supervision to ensure that you will receive
the healthiest bird possible from us!
